A3) UI of TVB Anywhere+ supports 6 languages including Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, Vietnamese, Thai and Bahasa (Indonesia). Users may also choose from 4 languages for subtitles of major titles including Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and English. The actual subtitles available might differ depends on respective titles.

A4) TVB Anywhere+ supports the following platforms: TVB Anywhere+ app via mobile phone (Android and iOS) or via tablet (Selected Android models and iPad). About TVB Anywhere+

TVBAnywhere+ is TVB's answer to a truly global video streaming experience dedicated to Chinese content. Available in all countries worldwide (except Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Macau, Malaysia, Vietnam and USA), viewers could watch our content anytime, anywhere using this one single app.

A2) TVB Anywhere+ is currently available for download in Singapore and Indonesia. However, due to content restriction, you will not be able to play videos in the following regions: Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Macau, Vietnam, USA, Malaysia, Europe & UK (subject to change from time to time without prior notice).

TVB Anywhere+ service plan and subscription

A1) You may subscribe our Premium service through the following methods:On TVB Anywhere+ App via in-app purchase on App Store / Google PlayOn Android TV/ Samsung TV. Once TVB Anywhere+ App is downloaded, scan the QR code on the TV screen, and you will be directed to a mobile site to complete purchase for our Premium service.

A2) Service will be activated once you received purchase confirmation email from the App Store or Google Play or Global Payments.

A3) TVB Anywhere+ subscription service period will be effective for 30 days via in-app purchase of App Store or Google Play or Global Payment. It will be renewed automatically, unless auto-renew is turned off within at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period for in-app purchase or turned off within at least 2 days before the end of the current subscription period for Global Payment.

A4) Once you have subscribed TVB Anywhere+ Premium service, you may not disconnect the service and it will be effective within the service period. If you subscribe via in-app purchase, subscriptions will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off within at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.

A5) No, you can’t. You have to provide a valid email address when subscribing.

A6) E-billing receipt is the electronic version of billing receipt through internet. Customers will receive on email notification.

A7) Yes, you can use the same account on different devices. The maximum concurrent video playing quota for free member is 1 and for paid subscriber is 2.

ABOUT TVBANYWHERE+ Chromecast FEATURE

A1. Chromecast is a feature that allows you to broadcast the audio and video from your smartphone via your app to the TV, and also allows you to control the various experiences of TVBAnywhere+ through your mobile devices.

A2. Chromecast features support in all markets where TVBAnywhere+ service is available except HK, Macau, and China. it also supports all Android devices that support TVBAnywhere+ (Android TV Version 8 or above).

A3. When using a high-speed Internet connection, you can stream TVBAnywhere+ in high-quality (up to 720p) Chromecast supports subtitles, alternative audio (dubbing, other languages), and 5.1 surround sound (if available).

A4.

Make sure you are a paid user of VOD Zone and your mobile device, tablet, and Chromecast or TV with Chromecast built-in are connected to the "same Wi-Fi network".

Open TVBAnywhere+ App.

3. Tap the "Cast" button

Tap the device you want to use to cast.

After connecting, the "Cast" button will change color, which means the connection is successful.

Now you can cast videos and TV shows directly to TV.

To stop serving, tap the "Cast" button> "Disconnect" in order.

A5. The Chromecast function is temporarily available to the paid users of VOD Zone.

A6. TVBAnywhere+ currently supports Chromecast feature on iOS and Android devices only.

A10. No, TVB Anywhere+ offers a SVOD service, meaning that by subscribing, you will be given access to all content available within the service plan that you've chosen. Individual program subscription is not available.

Payment and billing enquiry

A1) Yes, you may purchase via Global Payment by scanning the QR code on your TV app.

A2) Please contact your App Store or GooglePlay support. For customers who've subscribed through your internet or mobile service provider, please contact your service provider for enquiries.

Program viewing

A1. The Premium service shall offer you full access to all content available on TVB Anywhere+ app. In addition, you would be entitled to a maximum of 2 concurrent screen views as a paid subscriber. Screen mirroring on Miracast is also exclusive for Premium subscribers. For more up-to-date information, please visit our official website: plus.tvbanywhere.com or email us at cs@tvbanywhere.com.

A3. Most of the drama titles will be available in Cantonese, Mandarin Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai. Subtitles will also be available in Chinese, English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Customer is able to change the subtitle or dubbing in the player by clicking the settings at the top right.

A4. The highest video quality is 720p.

A5. Yes, we have “recently watch” / “view history” functions and it will keep track around every minute, such that the app will prompt whether you want to continue watching from your last viewing point when you switch to play at another device.

Technical Support

A1) Suggested requirement for using TVB Anywhere+:
Smartphones: - Operation System: iOS 9.1 or above, Android 5.0 or above
– Wi-Fi or 4G LTE data connection

- Samsung TV: Samsung SMART TV with Tizen 4.0 or above

A2) The basic bandwidth requirement for TVB Anywhere+ mobile app: - 1.5Mbps or above

A3) TVB Anywhere+ service may not be available if the equipment is incompatible or lower than the minimum requirement of our service. Subscribers should use device and operation system which are TVB Anywhere+ compatible. Please visit link for details.

A4) Screen mirroring via Miracast is available for TVB Anywhere+*, but exclusive to Premium subscribers only.
*Please note that Macau TVBAnywhere+ App does not support TV access at this time. TVB will continue working on improving the user experience.
